I've read the Naiad crown lost it's three point star by 63-64 era. Can anyone confirm? My late 66 165.024, although
a little rough, came with this one which has 24 points and what looks like the correct early elongated logo. Any info is appreciated 👍 Paul

Did the star actually indicate a naiad crown? I’ve read this countless times but there are other crowns with the star in the centre for non diver watches which don’t have the naiad function.

Alternatively was the naiad system used on dress Seamasters as well?

Good question. I'm reading from two sites that focus on the SM300, stating the star represents three elements, and quoted from one site is "representing 3 points of protection against magnetism, moisture and pressure" but I'm seeing other inconciscies on that site to be 100% convinced, so I'm unsure. This one matches the size chart and details given, with the exception of the 3pt star.
