Ah @Duracuir1 fine leather goods glad like mine your test was negative. I’m still not feeling great and now the guy who is supposed to relieve me at 4p came down with something and requires a test (note he did not get it from me I did not work with him recently) so I may be working till midnight feeling kinda crappy. I have been wearing the same watch for three days now as when I wake up I really feel rough and don’t get “going” until about 11a but I’m pretty sure I accomplished a couple things between 8a and 11a just don’t ask me what they were. I am really hoping this is the last bout of cough and sniffles for both of us for a while as colds aren’t what they used to be. Might as well flash my three day old watch.

Ya I stay out of that as well seems like religion and politics is a safer topic these days I have my own thoughts on the subject but so do 7 billion other people I’ll let them do the talking

I told him, don’t shit the bed, man. His contributions were insightful for a while but I’m not sure why he has decided to implode.

@Duracuir1 really happy your test results were good news.
If you want to spend a really good time and take revenge on your cat without causing any harm, you should watch the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn.

there’s a great temperamental cat in there, in addition to other great characters. Believe it or not I had never seen the film and it’s quite a masterpiece, making me understand why it has such a cult following and is considered a precursor to the series “Sex and the City” and a feminist statement about independent women.

I posted earlier in that thread asking members to be civil with their posts and suggesting that the mods exercise restraint. Well, we see how that worked out. It’s a shame that there are always a few who seem incapable of engaging in reasoned and polite discourse. We certainly don’t have to agree, but we can still be polite. Oh well, at least we haven’t reached the level of dysfunction that the US Congress displays every single day that they’re in session.

I remember the dark jokes about this during the peak of the AIDS fear in the 80’s-

Dark humour keeps us going in the UK.... Prince Andrew is just glad he was found to have Covid-19 and not Coed-16......
