Auction house use of case knife as hacking tool on a 2364 chronometre

    I was initially interested in this 2364 which went on auction today. But what with the inscription on the back and the bent lug I could not bring myself to bid more than the hammer price of 700 GBP it went for.

    Especially off-putting was this pic however, which they actually published:
