·Good luck @Duracuir1 fine leather goods. I was having an issue for a bit as I had a bad cold/mild flu. Kept me out of two jobs for a few days. The instant tests aren’t hard to get and they were all negative but I needed a PCR lab test for work and that was a bit of a struggle between everyone getting colds, needing proof of negatives for travel and the fear of the new variant took me three days to get a PCR as the “system is overloaded” I took three instants cause I wanted to make sure I wasn’t making anyone sick but didn’t get my negative PCR until Monday. Like you I’m pretty sure this is number three for me.
Of greater concern I got a call from the assisted living place my mother is residing at 1 staff and one client tested positive during surveillance testing. That call was probably at 11a but 5p I received another they found seven additional cases including two on my mothers ward. The whole place is vaccinated and the message said all but one are asymptomatic so far.
so I hope you like me get a nice big “negative” on your test we are at the point now where a cold completely changes everything and can give you a dose of fear. More people have died this year from covid than last yet all the daily death tolls that constantly ran on CNN and such are gone.
What fun this has been.

·Ah @Duracuir1 fine leather goods glad like mine your test was negative. I’m still not feeling great and now the guy who is supposed to relieve me at 4p came down with something and requires a test (note he did not get it from me I did not work with him recently) so I may be working till midnight feeling kinda crappy. I have been wearing the same watch for three days now as when I wake up I really feel rough and don’t get “going” until about 11a but I’m pretty sure I accomplished a couple things between 8a and 11a just don’t ask me what they were. I am really hoping this is the last bout of cough and sniffles for both of us for a while as colds aren’t what they used to be. Might as well flash my three day old watch.
