A good question.

Can’t really tell from these pics. It doesn’t look much like the small defined lug facet that -65 models have. It could be the -64 lug (curved side no facet) or it could just be another example of the over large facet seen on the Trilogy and FOIS. Hopefully it’s the -64 profile since that’s what Ed White actually wore. If it does have the large facet, that and the bracelet suggest they recycled the Trilogy case. I am going to guess it is the -64 profile, so a “new’ design vs the FOIS/Trilogy.

The horizontal portion on the top of the end of the lugs looks to be slightly wider than the FOIS to me, so I'd expect it have a more typical 105.003 profile, but whether it is like a -64 or -65 we'll have to wait for some different photographs...

According to the Fratello article, it's CHF13.000 Swiss Francs

That last pic makes it look like -64 lugs (there is no clear bevel facet) so it is a new case profile vs the FOIS and Trilogy. Not quite as square a lug as many -64s maybe but more like a -64 than anything else.

This is a lovely watch, but it doesn't beat the Trilogy Speedy imo.

I think there might be a technical limitation for the Speedy dial case construction not being able to support a domed curved sapphire crystal (without the milky ring), for a 13K CHF/USD watch, I would have expected it to be honest.

Looks like a 2000/yr production run and appeal limited to the WIS community, I think they should not be hard to get after the initial surge, especially if the a new Snoopy (much wider market appeal) becomes the new focus later on during the year.

Wonder if they will keep the hesalite on the new SS 3861 and if that version will offer a sapphire sandwich option. I might be tempted if they keep it at around US$6-7K (Explorer price range).

And Rolex waiting list as Omega can only produce 2000/year ... chances are there you will have to wait quiet a bit

Depends how deep is your pocket. With 13 k price tag that will not be affordable to many, and obviously this is what Omega likes to do. PP and Rolex SS marketing approach!

damn, 13k is tough. I can't say that I'm surprised though.
