·Hi there, first post. I like to buy non-running or otherwise damaged watches and restore them. An associate wants to buy a Speedmaster I recently picked up and I really don't have a number for him. I can normally find plenty of comps from auctions and other retailers but this being an older more obscure model I sort of drew a blank.
The watch is a 145.022 and appears to be all original as far as I can tell, aside from the crystal. I have purchased a 063PW5139 crystal as well as some replacement springs for the stretch links in the 1039 bracelet as there's a few broken. Hands have intact lume, although its turned black. The watch is currently running but definitely needs a service. Crown is stiff, pushers are completely stuck in the outward position.
Would appreciate any and all information anyone has, as well as a ballpark dollar amount as it sits currently as well as a number after servicing.
