List it on eBay with the last photos you took. Publish the link to the auction here. I will bid for sure, even if I麓m pretty sure I won麓t stand a chance given the currently overrated USD 馃檨

All I did was get down on the floor in front of the north facing picture window. Used the flower setting and tried to keep the camera still. I like the idea of a book. It really did spend the last 35 years in the sock drawer. Business conditions precluded wearing it and I never really wore bling except for business. Nice to her all the great comments. I'll try for some more pictures either today or Sat. No more floor as it is to painful to get back up.

Thanks

Rich

Since I am asking all these questions, why not one more. In doing my homework I found a blog by Desmond at Omega Constellation Collectors. I follow the directions to get his email but no luck finding it. Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Rich

Desmond is a member here - screen name "mondodec". Search him under the MEMBERS link at the top center of the page, and send him a private message. He'll get an email notification. Please keep in mind that he's semi-retired so cut him slack on his response time and don't pepper him with questions.

@mac_omega is probably the top expert on this reference and owns some of the finest examples known to exist. Unless I'm mistaken it is of special interest to Erich.

Happy to entertain any questions via PM. Yours looks like a US example with the two tone dial. I cant actually see the markings on the movement although the rotor seems to indicate 17 jewels. This will most probably be a cal 470 example and will probably have OXG on one of the bridges.

Cheers

Desmond

To my knowledge, everything is as it should be. Which is a bit unusual in and of itself, as these watches tend to be messed with quite often.

Very much like the Constellations.

It might be a couple of weeks before I get photos of the inside. Sometimes I have to work. Grandson has spring break next week and we are going to get the 1973 M/C ready for sale. He is playing in two baseball leagues and I am the official yeller. Then, I have to set up with the local jeweler for the inside photos and of course take him and a mutual friend to lunch. I will post here when it goes on ebay. I will not sell private here just because the administrators have been so helpful.

I thank everyone for the encouragement they have given me and will keep checking back.

Thanks

Rich

Just an update. Finally have a lunch date set for April 10th. That was the first date the three of us could get together. I will be taking pictures of the inside of the watch that day and will try and post then. For those who have shown interest in the watch, save up your dollars, euros, whatevers as we are getting closer to it coming on the market.

Thanks again

Well, about that lunch date to get the inside photos. The jeweler has come down with a case of shingles. I would not wish that on anyone. The new date for the lunch/photos is now the 17th of April. In closing, keep saving what ever it is you save. Not much longer.

Thanks for your patience.

Which is exactly what a seller wants. I bet he's got at least a couple dozen guys tuned in to what's going to happen.

3 or 4 years ago, I'd have bought that watch already. 馃槈
