I honestly do not understand that hype about a SM XVI.... they are not uncommon. How many do you need?

 

It's all about the hype! It works for Hollywood, so why not on a watch forum?

 

Update: Interior photos have been taken. Very expensive 2 1/2 hour lunch. Waiting to make sure I have all my I's dotted and T's crossed. It will happen just don't know when for sure. Patience on your part is appreciated.

Now, to be more serious about it.... it is explained easily: it is a re-dial as these watches never came with a black dial!

But I love to keep it because there is such a nice contrast between the rose gold case and markers and the black dial.
