Are the sailing Bracelets worth the money?

Does anyone have any experience purchasing, wearing, selling?

I was waiting at Adis Ababa once and a guy standing next to me had one on as well as a seamaster 300. I talked to him about the bracelet. His opinion was that they are nice and everything, even well made but not necessarily good value for money. He did say it had led to more people starting conversations about watches than when he didn’t have one, but whether that is a good thing is a personal matter 😀
