I just purchased one and was wondering if anyone who has had one for awhile had theirs loosen up a bit. Out of the box it is more teardrop shaped instead of a circle/oval and is kinda uncomfortable.

Maybe you can put it on a watch pillow or put it on a cylindrical item like a water bottle before you go to sleep. Hopefully it should mold to that shape. Maybe running it under warm water can help shape it too. Just some thoughts, I never owned one, but they look cool!

I have been wearing one of these bracelets, with some regularity, for several years. I guess it has softened a bit, but the teardrop, or ovoid shape, seems to be the norm. I think you will get used to it!

Mine is a few years old too. Shape is oval, but so is my wrist. It wears comfortable for me.

I have a black/grey textile one in XL size and it doesn't have any tear drop shape, just oval like wrist. Material and size will make a difference. OP's looks small-ish which will affect shape.

Pardon the ignorance but is there a practical purposes to this bracelet for sailing?
