·I have of course yet to see it in person, but from pictures and videos something doesn't feel "right" about the dial when I look at it expecting to see a Speedmaster, the watch I've admired and desired for so long.
It may be the glossy finish, but mostly I think it is the flatness of the dial/subdials. I have the 1861 Hesalite, also the White one from 2024, and they both have a "transition" into the different levels of depth.
This new one, while it has depth, the transition is just a sudden step.
Still looks very nice, but not what I usually expect when I see a Speedmaster pro.

·Well quasi all brands already had a reverse dial chronograph (Breitling, Movado, Rolex, Seiko,...)
In some way might be a "consolation" opportunity for those who didn't get a ST-1 (2017) ... 10K 😲

·Nice. It also has the new hesalite like sapphire crystal from the FOIS.
Steel is boxed shaped crystal.
According to the fratello video, both are rhe same.

·Guess Omega now have a chronograph which competes fairly against the Daytona, Zeniths chronomaster ect. Staying true to their routes, yet has more perceived ‘luxury for the price’.
Was one thing when I owned my 3861 sapphire sandwich, it didn’t feel worth the price, ie not luxurious enough for for its retail. Now looking back I understand it more & heck I want another one (but not at its current RRP)

Also, from the official photos and the ones posted here and elsewhere these watches don't look very legible at all, which of course is famously a huge advantage of the standard Speedy Pro.

·It looks nice enough and has some interesting bits to it, that I'll probably go see it in the next week or two. That said, the photos don't really do it for me so far, so it'll probably be just acknowledging that it is a nice watch 😀 At least my wallet hopes so.

·I like everything about the watch except the cutout subdials. For some reason it's just not working for me in the pictures. Reminds me too much of the Speedmaster 38 subdials.
