It would be interesting to know what justifies the 10,200 instead of the 8000 (on the White for example)
White dial is $9,100. I suspect this one will have ceramic bezel and maybe another tweak to account for the added cost. Ceramic dial maybe?

IF the photo we've seen is right, it could be that it is a 2-layer/piece dial, so at least something more complicated/different?

I’ve heard the white subdials are in ceramic as well

A ceramic dial would make it a much more premium edition and it would justify the premium.

Wait... unless it's a diver 300M. Then an aluminium dial and an aluminium bezel would make it a much more premium edition and would justify the price increase.

Do you start to understand it now?

Price increases regardless? Cost of living? All that jazz? 😬

It will be ceramic bezel with lacquered dial. Stunning watch but a substantial price increase over the normal moonwatch. Have put my name in for one.

Ceramic bezel makes sense. My initial thought was white gold hands and markers could justify the increased price as that would allow them to stick to the same formula they did with the white dial: exact same 'platform' as the sapphire sandwich with the only changes being to the dial and hands. Who knows, maybe it will be both.

Nah no gold hands

That's cool; between a ceramic bezel and white gold hands (I didn't even know they did WG on stainless models until I started looking at the Tresor) the ceramic bezel has much greater 'real world' benefit. I was fortunate to get a white dial Speedy fairly early on and I'll probably be sticking with it (I've owned multiple black dial versions over the years but for some reason never really connected with them), but I'm still excited to see one in the metal. I was convinced I would not be buying the new PO until I saw one in person and... well I bought a new PO =)

Call me a heretic but you can get a ceramic bezel now from Spiralwinder for any Speedy, even in different colors, so the fact they include it here is no big deal. The laquered dial looks nice though. Omega tested such dials for the Globemaster and the prototypes were reviewed by Fratello, but sadly, they didn't make it to production. So maybe they resolved the productio issues and the dials are finally here.

I hope they added Spirate to justify the expected price increase but I am not holding my breath. Wishful thinking.

Odd choice for a ceramic bezel in this model and not all those which are sapphire glass.

Despite Omega working with some "influencers" 🥱
We'll have to wait for a FratelloWatches article to see the novelties...

Nice! But needs a little red like the white dial has. And what makes it worth 1300 more than the white?

It's nice, a lot nicer than my mind imagined. I'll need to go and see it in the flesh to get a true feeling for it, and whether I'd go for something like this over the standard 3861 SS.

I believe it would be this bit:
There over twenty layers of lacquer on the dials.

Nice. It also has the new hesalite like sapphire crystal from the FOIS.
