That Railmaster might be the first new Omega watch I go for.

Oh no....I will be very disappointed if this is the next Speedmaster LE.

I love the blue, just not snoopy.

The 50th anniversary of Ed White's spacewalk has to trump the 45th anniversary of Apollo 13, surely?

When the 50th of A13 does roll around I hope it's something more inventive/thoughtful than another Snoopy.
The Apollo 13 'Ex Luna, Scientia' patch is one of the best designs and could make an excellent caseback if done right.
I think the patches were 'wasted' on the subdial of the Missions watches.

Bright red markers at 35 seconds and 5 minutes, perhaps 🙄

The most famous mission after Apollo 11 is Apollo 13. Ed White is cool but among non space fanatics or science geeks it is largely unknown

I don't disagree with you Kringkily but I think it would be very sad to overlook a 50th.
I'm sure NASA will mark the occasion but Omega possibly has the opportunity to bring it to an even wider audience of "non space fanatics or science geeks". There must be a lot of history and old adverts that they could re-issue/re-invent from the time they supposedly saw their Speedmaster in Life magazine*. There wouldn't need to be too much changed to the FOIS but you'd have to agree that Ed White must be more widely known (marketable for Omega) than Schirra (and I'm a big Schirra fan/collector).

*Still need to chase RJ on James Ragan's full/true story on this.

Agreed on railmaster, it's a killer watch.

Interesting the band PO with NATO as we all thought it was the seamaster 300 M not the PO.

Relative importance of Apollo missions not withstanding, there will be a Snoopy re-issue this year, its not exactly a secret.

Key with the Railmaster will be using the Tresor base movement and keeping it hand-wound to differentiate it from the SM300 and shave some height off it for a slimmer profile on the wrist.

That would be awesome. And keep it under 40mm. 49mm on the xxl?! WTH?

I want some white and silver dials... Is that too much to ask for from Basel 2015?? A sleek white PO, maybe another meteorite shimmery silver Speedy, and a re-release of the Great white. Anyone with me here?
crickets, lol?

There have been several white POs listed on eBay these last few days. I never knew they had a white version until a few days back. It looks like they make a 37mm and 42mm version.

Yeah Taddy I noticed, it got my blood rushing! Now I'm hoping to see some new white releases at B-2015.
Have to wait and see, I think we are all getting anxious for some leaked info at this point. Only a few weeks away 😀

Oh wow, this would be amazing. It's almost so good that I don't think they'll do it. Fingers crossed, however.

On the PO, I'm pretty convinced he has the SM300 on with the NATO. The picture I saw quite clearly had straight lugs.

Read the monochrome post as well. I thought they wrote about the watches omega is supposed to release. They are just guessing.

A PO with NATO would be soooo boring as a 007 LE.

The railmaster might be logical ( regards mr Spock )

SM300s with factory mesh bracelets like the old SM300s had might be interesting, no bar at the lugs though just open loops

I still don't know how I feel about the whole Bond connection. Seeing a 007 logo on an Omega doesn't really say sophistication and prestige or even "cool factor" to me. Don't get me wrong, I still geek out a little every time I see a movie character wear an Omega.

I really like the kind of strap the snoopy has. It'd be a nice casual option for me if I can find one of the same type.

Yup, quite sure by now that there will be a new Snoopy. Cool article, I hope they're right about the Railmaster but they missed one thing - what new colour of ceramic Speedy we'd be seeing 😉. Plenty of rumors but quite sure it's going to be the polar opposite of the DSOM.
