·I really like the idea of a sub 39 mm, hand wound Railmaster. Never even considered it since the SM300 is essentially the Railmaster with a dive bezel. Really pumped that Baselworld is only a couple weeks away!

Sorry, I wasn't thinking of that patent. It had something to do with a PO in a black ceramic case....

·A ceramic PO is part of the Plans... but having a patent registered is no guarantee of a production.
I'm sure they've patented the White ceramic, and reserved a name for a white ceramic speedmaster - Obviously they CAN make one, look at how the grey side starts...but it doesn't meant they SHOULD make one ... the patent just lets them come back to it if need be, and prevents anyone else from releasing it...
The spinning bullet on the back of the 5oth anniversary Bond for example...that was patented in 2007, and was going to be the back of the QoS LE...it got shelved...and then came back 5 yrs later for the 50th...

·Just saw that on their Twitter feed. I'm not going to be able to resist a white ceramic Speedy... They were apparently supposed to do a normal SS 9300 Speedy with a white dial/bezel but that got shelved.

He had pricing and everything but it was never released according to a couple of sources I have at Omega/Swatch. Perhaps they knew that they were starting off with white ceramic for the DSOM, which came in 2013 and said, lets just do white with ceramic 😉.

·I feel like the uncertainty of breaking it scares me away from buying and wearing it as a daily driver. I would be worried about it all the time and wrap my wrist in bubble wrap when in public.

·Maybe they get to the point where you pick your case, dial color, sub dial color and bezel.
Certainly you could replicate the panda on the 9300. I think that would take.
What about a meteorite dial for the 9300?
