I’ve got a chance to buy a speedmaster LE at list price, but it’ll involve selling a kidney (or another watch from my collection) to do so. Should I?

It depends. What watch would you be selling?

Maybe the Tudor black bay I guess. I love all my collection and wear them regularly, but the opportunity to buy the speedmaster at list is eating me up!

That Black Bay is nice, looks like early NCG subs! I'd flip the Seamaster we see in the middle towards a Speedy 60th anniv.

I haven’t thought to buy a single piece of the trilogy, but acquired a RMLE by accident recently. Now I’m so satisfied that I consider to sell my Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial and buy a SMLE. 😎

I haven’t thought to buy a single piece of the trilogy, but also acquired a RMLE by accident recently. Now I’m so satisfied. Period!

Out of curiosity: how does one go about acquiring a multi-thousand-dollar watch "by accident"?

I'd love some comparison notes and photos between the 2 Seamasters before you sell the SM300MC.
I wore my Submariner today to see how'd I feel about selling it to get the SMLE and as much as I love the SM, I don't think i can let go of the Sub...

Anyone having problems screwing down the crown properly? It's tight, but doesn't fit snugly. Perhaps it's the design?

It seems to be the way it’s designed.

A slightly better picture showing the matching lume and B&L strap.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for an alternative to the supplied options. It really brings out the vintage look you usually see in CK2914-1 shots.

Can you link me to the strap good sir?

The railmaster was in the window at the Trafford centre OB today.

I was going to try it on, until I got 'the look' from the other half. It was strange really as she was happy for me to try on a pre-owned Seamaster tri-colour in the Goldsmiths opposite just before that.
