I love these for what they are, but feel no need to own any of them...

Good news for my ST, and Apollo 17 plans...

I wonder how my spare 1599xxxx serial 321 movement would look in that Speedmaster

I'm with you there, Doc. I have made no secret of hoping for something special from Omega in 2017, since I'm of 1957 vintage myself. But...I don't think I could ever buy a new watch with faux patina -- it just rubs me the wrong way.

That Railmaster though...that would be the most tempting of the three...

If I had not purchased the new Explorer last year, the Railmaster would be a target. I appreciate everything that Omega has launched so far and the direction RA has taken.

I am on the waitlist for the Speedy Tuesday. I was really hoping one of these would make me not care about the Speedy Tuesday. I definitely like these new releases, but I think I ma going to hang in there and wait to see if my number is called.

I agree. I also don't like that its aesthetically the same as the original. That's kinda wrong in my opinion. It should have something unique.

It's really nice and I really really like the size. But a 100% re-edition is a bit disingenuous to those who own the original (not me - I wish). Wish they made it the same but with unique subdials or bezel. Something that says its a different watch.

But it is lovely. I will have to think about this because I was so excited about the size!

and this is not gonna change SpeedyTuesday owners one bit imo... not that I think it ever was going to.

What are the chances that the new SM300 bezel will fit the originals? Slim to none?

Modern movement is enough of a modification for me.

Three very nice looking watches. I wonder if they will do a limited numbered set of three.
