Totally agree it matches the watch better. Just pulled the trigger on the brushed/polished US. Super pumped. ::psy::

Mine is en route as well. Went all brushed because I already have the B/P on my '57 Railie... threw in for a set of Speedy coasters too so The Wife can't accuse me of -only- purchasing watch shit all the time.
"Honey, Uncle Seiko also sells home decor items too."

I looked through a lot of the pics in this thread of the three Trilogy models, and in some photos, it looks like the hands disappear into the dial and are very hard to read.

So, my question to any owners, of any of the three models: in actual use, do certain lighting conditions make these watches difficult to read, or not so in actual use?

I've never had a problem reading the time on my speedy and seamaster.

IMO not hard to read at all. Occasionally a glare makes me move my wrist but I feel that's true with any watch tbh. The face is matte faded black/greyish, and the silver of the hands and faux lume make a pretty stark contrast. Here's some pics just now from indoor evening lighting, can post some more in daylight at some point if it's ever not cloudy and dreary December weather.

Thanks, really helpful.
