Information/Model & Value Help

A friend of mines mother in law has this Omega Deville and wants to know what it is and what it’s worth as neither of them are “watch people”. This is not a sales post.

Thanks I’m advance.

A number of things jump out at me. It is not a Seamaster! Unlike any DeVille model I’ve ever seen. Details regarding the poor finishing tells me “not Omega”. No sign of a manufacturers trade mark which is mandatory on karat gold items. “Diamonds” look very suspicious, but the definition in your photo is no help.

The pictures were sent from his mother in law. My buddy now has that watch in his possession. I’m going to ask him for some better quality pics and upload them here in 5 minutes. Maybe that will help.

Sorry it looks fake to me. Gold fineness on something like this would typically be marked as .750 not 18K. Far too many off details on this one.

No worries, I’d rather give him the correct information even if it is a fake.

The stones appear to be glued in rather than bead set. Diagnosis? Likely rhinestones. I’m going to call it a fake!

I'd go so far as to call it a counterfeit.

Even to me who is in no way an expert………..It smells like a wrong’un!
If I can pick it as wrong, then that should be a fair warning.
