Am the lucky owner of this beautiful old Omega... Bought just because I loved the lines of the case.. But upon returning home to do some research ....have been able to find NO information with regard to reference and calibre.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I would think you're OK here. You have hallmarks and authentic looking movement. The staining around the Omega logo would indicate this dial has been with the watch for a long time. Your dial and the general style of the watch fits in with this set: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/vintage-watches?v_watches_calibre=3058 If you're still concerned you can order an extract from Omega... PS. no need to yell in your thread title
Thanks RMAn for the info - I get the no yell policy!! LOL - just wanted an eye catching title! No offence intended I attempted to get an extract from Omega but could get past the "page 1" of the request...don't know if their site is having problems? ..wlll try again. Thanks again!
Movement looks correct. I had a 510 in recently that appears to be the same as your calibre (511) but with the addition of a sub seconds. Nice slim design and capable of running very well. They are not that common. Cheers, Chris
