Old Omega Automatic Chronometer Constellations

Hello,

a few years ago I inherited this Watch from my Grandfather. Now I got older and started putting Interest into watches, so i took it and tryed to get the exact Model, Blueprints because i got no Papers or a Box for the Watch.
The next thing is the condition of the watch.
So i would say the clockwork is fine. The clockhands are moving but the minute hand sometimes gets stuck at the "pins" on the dial and when i softly hit the watch it moves to the bottom. I know a perect diagnosis is not possible over this Forum, but maybe someone could help me with the model/blueprints and possible solutions and reparaton costs for the described problems.
Thank you in advance

Thank you. I live in Cologne in Germany. Is it necessary to go to a Omega watch-expert or is a "normal" watch expert enough?

I would recommend Robin Israel - Oppenheim. He is well-known in the Omega-Universe. You might visit him and spend a nice day at Rheinhessen 👍, ein netter und freundlicher Kerl und "offiziell Omega-zertifiziert"
OF mixes the language...
This watch deserves a good service!

Do you have any Idea or supposition what the Problem with the watch is?

The minute hand is getting stuck on the lower markers sometimes. It could be bent or misaligned on the pipe. Should be easily corrected when serviced.

It is a 14900 Constellation with dome dial, powered by a 551 movement. The hands have been replaced by shorter hands and the minute hand stuck at the markers then get loose.
You need to have the movement serviced and get the correct hands installed with correct clearance.
Good luck.

Sounds like minute is loose and drooping which is why it’s hitting the index. Why it drops to the bottom of the dial when hit.

Tube could be tightened
