A recent acquisition that I’m looking to sell to fund the purchase of a grail watch (Hamilton K-475). The watch was purchased from the original owner's daughter. Solid 18k gold case with fancy lug covers that is in very nice, well preserved condition - fairly certain this case is rose gold. Dial is in very nice condition with some light spotting. Original dauphine hands. Inside is a 17 jewel chronometer rated cal. 354 bumper movement (possibly a 28.10 RA SC-354 based a similar reference in AJTT). Serviced by my local watchmaker in September - I don’t have a receipt but you can see the watchmaker mark on the inside of the case “9 18 P”. SN: 13,xxx,xxx - dating the watch to ~1953 Reference: OT 14.327 Original Omega signed crown. Very nicely sized at 35mm without the crown. Watch and I are located in Vancouver, BC. Price: $3150 USD + shipping at cost. Returns only if grossly misrepresented. The reference to the 28.10 movement was based on the attached photo from AJTT, which features a similar model with the same lug covers. The pictured model had a 28.10 RA 354-SC according to AJTT.
Ok everyone... whomever want to comment on the caliber naming issues here... I created a new thread... https://omegaforums.net/threads/ok-what-does-28-10-mean-for-a-movement-designation.83715/ Good Hunting Bill Sohne
Putting this rare bird back up for sale. I’ve included a few additional photos in natural light. $3150 USD + shipping at cost.
Thanks @Edward53 - it’s hard to capture the beauty of the watch. My initial photos definitely didn’t do it justice.
