Good morning all, hope you can help me finding the model of my father in law Omega automatic.
It is in gold and marked inside as Ref. 14754 with movement Caliber 552.
Do you know something about and the Value on the market?
Many thanks for your help
Max

With a full movement service and a new crystal it would fetch > 1500 USD in Denmark. Not that I would sell it, were it in my family! Beautiful watch with dial in very nice condition. It is from 1961.

A decent watchmaker could turn that into a little cracker. I'm not 100% on the dial; and, the rotor shows signs of rubbing (worn rotor bearing). Outside of that, it looks perfectly fine. You've got around £500 in there in gold content. Don't use or wear it until it's been serviced as you'll only cause more damage but fix it and keep it.

Thank you all, I'm just afraid that this will not have a decent wrist time, my wife don't like it and I have a big wrist. My guess is between give it a full restoration or sold as is to someone can really appreciate. One acceptable option would be to trade it with something more recent, but I don't know how to start this.
