Found an old Omega automatic, help me identify it?

I was cleaning through some closets, and I found this old Omega Automatic watch. I honestly don't even know if it's real or what kind of model it is. So I was wondering if there are some smart people here that could help me out.
From what I've already found out it's some kind of bumper watch?
It's still working and all, which is pretty cool considering it looks so aged.

Nice watch with a fantastic looking strap. If you have a watchmaker take the back off and snap a photo of the inside of the case back and of the movement you can find out what you have. The crown is a replacement and the crystal ( not the case) could use a polish. Great bumper and two tone dial!

I've found a local watchmaker that deals in vintage wristwatches nearby, so I think I'm going to take it there. Thanks for the insight 馃榾

From the font of twelve number.
It's in early period of automatic movement it might be on late 1940's to early 1950's

It is not from the 40's, because the Omega logo is not printed but applied. It looks like an Omega ambassador, Omega first automatic model.
If it is 33 mm, it has a 28.10 RA mvt, if it is 35 mm, then it has 30.10 RA mvt. Reference should be either 2374 (35 mm) or 2375 (33 mm).

The case appears to be gold shell over steel. Does anyone know if the bezel on these is likewise gold shell, or solid karat gold? Anyway. Rough as it looks, it should clean up nicely, and the dial will look a whole lot better out from behind that distressed crystal.

On late 1940.the watch that have also have applied logo !

Forget what I said, If there is a bezel then it is probably with a screw down back and has a diameter of 33 mm. The gold bezels are generally 14k gold.
