Oh snap I ordered a watch and don’t recall it

I have been on the search for a watch but had events keep popping up messing up my plans. Recently it was setting up a funeral for a passed loved one. I kept going to work as I made the arrangements but seemed to have lost my ability to sleep.
Also pain from a surgery a while back reared up. A doctor at work told me I looked like hell. I told him a little of what was going on he whipped out his script pad and said “let’s get you some pain relief and sleep. I thInk that was Friday. I got up Saturday found I ordered a 37.5mm planet ocean. If I was going to order one it would have been the 39.5. Also it’s on a rubber strap. I almost always get a bracelet as it makes more financial sense.

I don’t mind midsize so much but the PO 37.5 has kinda a weird layout and the crown and precious HE valve look kinda big on the smaller case.

I’ve ordered like seikos or something weird after a surgery and been only mildly aware but this was like a true blackout.

I was supposed to order a rolex so this went completely sideways. Anybody have experience with the 37.5 PO titanium? It’s of the blue color. It’s on its way. I know I have the option to return it but that’s kinda a pain with new watches. If it looks decent on me I’ll probably keep it.

The doc (co worker) gave me a 7 day supply of this med mix. Maybe I’ll try it again this Friday see what I order. I do think he told me not to take the sleeping pill and pain thing at the same time but I thought that was just a suggestion.

Sometimes I amaze myself with my stupidity.

Medicinal watches. Take the prescribed combinations and strengths to obtain the watches you have been jonesing for.

I need a the right combination of prescription medications that will provide me with a 1948 Omega Centenary.

I always tell my Wife I don't remember, and enjoy her reactions. Now this is a great excuse for me to get another....Thank you 😀
All joking aside, I hope the sleep deprivation subsides. It sounds expensive.. Cheers

Yup that’s her. It’s actually scheduled for delivery today but I won’t be home I’ll be at work. Another thing I didn’t account for in my haze. I’m going to try to have it dropped off at a local shop but having issues with the website. I’ll figure it out maybe I opened my subconscious and it’s what I really wanted.

Well I was able to be home we had a zoom training. Actually it’s kinda nice. I gotta give this a little thought but I think it may be a keeper. I’m going to talk to the doc tomorrow have him write up a special mix for @noelekal. Actually the strap is a little small but I can make it work. Current pics still have all protective stuff on as I gotta decide about possible return. I like smaller stuff find it less flashy but do have plenty of 40-42mm. I know it’s my decision but what say u about my black out watch?

They are kinda funny I mean really the most action it will see is handwashing but I appreciate the historical progress of diver watches.

I know it’s my decision but what say u about my black out watch?
If you can afford it, I say keep it. If you don’t want to wear it, save it to give as a gift for a loved one’s significant occasion.

Ya believe me I’m not rolling in dough but I never buy things I can’t afford. Especially what can be viewed as “unnecessary expenditures”. We don’t talk much about money here but yeah this can be an expensive hobby. Luckily in the state I was in I must have kept that in mind. I’m surprised I didn’t go for a Daytona or something.

I know you were looking for an orange bezel but this blue baby does look good on you. It might be a little less flashy than the orange, which you've mentioned is important to you for a watch at work.

The size looks like a good fit on your wrist.

You'll get used to the HE valve. Soon you won't notice it. Later, you might think watches without HEV look wierd. The HEV can also be a good conversation starter at work.

Kindof depends on the price, as these PO are often available at a discount. If it's a fair price, this watch comes close as any to being a great daily. Plus, it's a great story and every watch is better with a good story.

I have a couple with the HV now. My concern was it’s the same size valve as the one on the 39.5mm case and someone was complaining about that on an online review but tbh proportions don’t look bad too me. Date window small but legible. Price was comparable got a good discount. I mean it’s too much to pay for what it is (a watch).
Nonetheless less seems to pass the smell test may wear it tomorrow.

Looks like the “prescribed” desired results to me.

Though I have wrists with 8-inch girth, watches the size of a wheel off a city bus are much overrated in my opinion.

Oh, it's nice. It'd be a little small for me, but if the size works for you, the PO is a great watch. The blue is beautiful.

Actually they thought it was going to be a Rolex. Prob just an explorer so I just gotta explain how I got of course. The explorer would have been 36mm so it all evens out somehow I’m sure.
