It really depends on what other watches you have..
If, for example, you do not have a speedy then yes you are crazy lol
Personally I would prefer the go....
    Good luck choosing
    Cheers

I like the look of the titanium Bulgari OF but Find the display back underwhelming, the way they left only the micro rotor and the escapement visible.

If ai had this watch, I would look at it every night before i go to bed and every morning when I woke up. But it wouldn’t earn a spot at my daily rotation watchbox.

I've heard this from more than a few people. Get one on the wrist and go from there!

Stopped by the local Bulgari boutique to check their inventory tonight and unfortunately, they hadn’t received the GMT chronograph model just yet. On the other hand, they had the all ceramic time-only model, and wow, quite an impressive watch!!

And for comparison, here next to a Ti model:

And here the SS model as well:

Definitely try these on in person. I felt it sat a bit awkwardly on my 6.5" wrist.

Bulgari bought all the rights to the Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth designs and names some years ago, so in some regards this watch is a direct descendant of Genta's design. Top quality, but make sure it fits, I often find big, flat watches just don't sit well on many wrists, it's like a flat cookie that can overhang even nice sized wrists. Ultra thin watches can be a little more fragile in the wild and maintenance on these ultra thin watches tends to be expensive and often require a trip back to the manufacturer. But if it sings to you it is a beautiful timepiece.

It always catches my eyes anytime I see it and makes me second guess my next purchase. There are a some decent options in that price range (10k?) but I think it's priced right where it should be and makes it a strong contender.

I wanted to like the Octo as it’s an impressive bit of watchmaking but after trying it on it did absolutely othing fr me and I think I even disliked it. Which I was kind of disappointed about. Definitely try on beforehand before buying. Agree resale will be horrendous though

It is a very different design and for some that will be enough, I have to say i like the Ti and SS versions, not so keen on the ceramic based on these pictures but it may be different when on the wrist.

I think the ablogtowatch review of the chronograph-GMT said it best: “That Bulgari has created this watch while certain competitors (and that is what they are) rely on hype and image while creating tepid new products would be funny if it weren’t so sad.”

And here I am, too, still not certain of pulling the trigger (though in part because I can’t find one to try in metal during the zombie apocalypse).

Say what you will about poor resale, or that the brand name rings of 1990’s fashion: at bottom, they’re taking G Genta design and then innovating movements at mass production levels for which I know of no competitors.

Dang, I’m sorry this thread put it back in mind.

Why not get a stainless steel Finissimo ? Has some heft and is also much more waterproof and suitable for wearing daily. Personally my favorite of all the Finissimo's (Finissimi?) is the stainless steel chronograph.

It is a very impressive watch and a very distinctive object. Few new watches come out these days with as much to offer at this price point. If I had unlimited funds I would buy one in a second. As it is, though, I’m not sure I want to spend $10k on something I won’t have any occasion to wear. I’m not sure my own logic makes much sense, though, because I do have plenty of watches I almost never wear that I very much like keeping. Hmmm. Tempting.
