Seriously this has been driving me crazy. I took it to the AD I bought it from and they said it was fine but it just looks so off.

Looks fine to me too, certainly when I turn the screen so it's horizontal.

Yep. Looks like a straight shooter to me. I'd buy a used car from that crown.

Great watch. Enjoy it.

For your 1st post, why wouldn't you take some cool pictures of undoubtedly a really nice watch? Instead, we get a side view with a "is the crown crooked?" inquiry.

More pics at diff angles would be helpful but looks like you’re crazy from that initial pic. Enjoy!

The crown is straight, but I think I see a scratch, a piece of dust under the crystal, a mark on the dial, the bezel is misaligned, and the hour and minute hands don't line up at midnight.

If it’s truly crooked, you would feel it wobble between you fingers like a tire out of round when you set it. That would usually be a slightly bent stem. If it sets smoothly without wobble, then you are suffering from HARWO (Hyper Anal Retentive Watch Owner)….it’s a condition we have all suffered at one point or another - but is treatable with a healthy dosage of vintage watches.

the crown "angle" on those models is going to be determined by the threaded tube-stem, so it's highly unlikely that the tube is installed in the case crooked. I think the problem you're having is the visual being thrown off by the shape of the crown guard.

Probably the only QC issue I’d ever fix on a watch. Can’t stand a misaligned hour hand.

As for OP’s crown, it’s all good. Take it easy.

I was going to say you're crazy like all the others, but then I realized I'd have to include myself in that kind of crazy. It does look like the axis of the stem in not parallel to the axis of the case. It looks like the stem is angled toward the back of the case. Maybe more pics from different angles would confirm or debunk that.

Yeah, I’m not so quick to say to someone- oh, you just pulled a muscle, then they are in for kidney replacement the next week. 👎

Still waiting for @cvalue13 to use his photoshop skills and draw a bunch of lines to check if they are parallel. 😁
