@Om3ga321 please let me know where you got the spring bars from? Did the boutique have them? Thank you.

At the Omega boutique, they gave me a different set of spring bars with the Mesh as opposed to the ones for my NATO.

I assume the boutique should provide you with the appropriate ones to whatever bracelet you get.

If not, just ask them.

Finally got a chance to try the ‘hybrid combo’ of the short and standard bracelet.

First 3 photos are on the second hole from the top.

These 3 photos are in the third hole from the top:

Verdict : It still sucks LOL.

Second hole was way too tight, to the point where I couldn’t even move my wrists.

Third hole was like 5% better, but not enough of a difference to justify dropping an extra ¥180000 JPY on a bracelet.

Bottom line is, the clasp is really the issue, as it is massive and keeps the mesh in a rigid state, so if you have wrists like mine (not flat and not like Daniel Craig’s), it will never be perfect no matter which bracelet you use, short or long.

So the best setting for me is the second hole on the standard bracelet.
Good news is, I saved ¥180000 from blind buying another bracelet

It just doesn’t work on anything less than the 4th hole because of the overlap beyond the clasp. I think the reality is that you’ll struggle to get a good fit even with the shorter length version of your wrist is smaller than about 7” as you’ll be i to triple overlap territory. With the full size it barely works at 7.25”

A lovely watch but not their best bracelet design it must be said.

Thank you for sharing.

I've been studying the bracelet and firmly believe the problem is not entirely the clasp. The issue is also caused by the bracelet not being flexible enough around the holes. So the entire underside can act like one long solid piece clamping down on the wrist.

Thanks to a tip from @the_drunk_dial, I've found that the solution is to manually "break-in" the bracelet around the holes, loosening up the mesh links and making it much more flexible around the holes. I did this on my short bracelet and it has made a HUGE difference. Before the comfort was just OK. But after making the bracelet articulate around the holes more, it has become very comfortable for my wrist.

This is how much my bracelet could bend around the holes "before".

"After" about 8-9 days of carefully bending the area around the holes to make the mesh more flexible, I could bend it this much.

I'm now very happy with the short bracelet. It looks great and feels great!

I can wear it on the 4th hole from the lugs for a nice snug and very comfortable fit.

Or I can wear it looser on the 5th hole from the lugs. When wearing it looser, it now falls much more naturally around my wrist, with less bulges on the sides.

Plus, I can now wear it comfortably over my wrist joint (as in this pic) and it no longer makes the clasp dig into my wrist.

That’s great and I’m glad that trick works for you.

I’ve bent the heck out of the short bracelet when I had it (as much as you guys did) and the 4th hole was the perfect ‘look’ but it was still way too tight for my wrist too move. The 5th hole, had huge gaps on both sides no matter how much I’ve bent the mesh, the clasp side sticks out and protrudes slightly past my wrist.

Bottom line for me is, I have to stick with the standard bracelet, with the 2nd hole from the lugs being the most comfortable but not perfect (depending on my wrist condition, the outer part starts to get loose) and the 1st hole being somewhat bearable if my wrists aren’t swelled up.

Again, as much as I love the watch, I wished they would’ve designed this better instead of having to ‘figure it out’.

Thanks. Yes, getting the area around the holes to fully articulate really did the trick for me. I'm now happy that I can say the bracelet feels very comfortable, instead of just ok comfort wise.

Sorry to hear the hybrid approach didn't work for you. Didn't know that you had already tried loosening up the mesh around the holes. This watch is really something special and the look of the mesh bracelet is a trend setter (IMHO), but it really should've been better designed to fit wrists of all shapes & sizes.

I recently purchased, (then sold), the NTTD 007 Edition Seamaster with Milanese bracelet. The 2 main reasons were the lack of flexibility, which caused a large gap on the side of my wrist, as well as it being strangely uncomfortable where the clasp closes, as a result of the thickness at that point.

I was so disappointed as I just loved the way the watch, particularly the bracelet, looked. Any other owners have the same issue?? Hopefully, its just me and the rest of you are enjoying this beautiful watch!!!!

That stinks! It looks so nice. When I had my AT, the variation in my wrist swelling made the rubber strap(that I positively loved the look of) made it frustrating and uncomfortable. Solidarity.

same here - absolutely love the watch, will be my daily driver for a long time, and finally decided to get it with the nato strap - but am still wondering what other options I might have: Nato brown leather, or even some different Titanium Bracelet. Has anyone ever tried the Skywalter Titanium, or the 1610.930 bracelet (or even the one from the 2298.80) with the NTTD?

Personally, I like the OEM Titanium Mesh best for this watch, but also like the OEM NATO very much. 👍

I don't know about other Omega bracelets, but if looking at other 3rd party strap options, I like these:

Marine Nationale style strap

Plain NATO strap

Rubber strap (by Zealande). It's a shame Omega doesn't make one for the NTTD.

I also love the watch too and wear it regularly. I find the mesh bracelet super comfortable. I also bought the NTTD nato strap but it’s still in the original wrapping (I’ve actually never worn a nato on any watch…. 😗). I would love to try a light brown rubber strap with clasp.

The instagram poster of that pic said it was from Cheapest Nato straps, but I don't currently see that color combo on their website. They have lots of others though. Their "Tropical" might match well.

However, Erika's makes a Marine Nationale strap that looks just like it in Havana color with a Mokka stripe.

Just received mine (v2 strap). First hole but didn’t feel uncomfortable...

Can someone elaborate about V1 and V2 on the NTTD Ti bracelet ?

Am considering buying an used NTTD and wonder how to identify the V1 and V2 bracelets (by serial number, time of sale, etc) as would want to avoid getting one with a V1 which may break out of warranty.

On sizing have the OEM SS version of the Milanese bracelet on the standard size (have 7 inch round wrist), wear it on the third smallest hole and the tongue basically match the length of the clasp bottom piece (below on my 3861)

V1 is what was released when the NTTD Seamaster first came out. Had an issue with the connecting points failing, so they reinforced the endlink area as well as the part that connects to the clasp. They fixed it early, so not many V1s are out there.
