I't seems that i have to do even more homework... To get my birthwatch, a 1974, always thought that it's gonna be a -71 to approx 80% and 20% a -74...

I'm also looking to buy either a 145.022-78 (birth year 1980) or a 71, with a stepped dial, for my 40th which is in February. As other members mentioned in the thread, speedmaster101 is a great guide, as is this forum. I have also bought 'moonwatch only' as it's unbelievably comprehensive.
