So im looking at buying a like new, running vintage omega. I am looking to spend around 500ish, possibly up to 750, but lower the better. This will be a daily wear watch, so probably a thin leather strap, maybe a nato strap even.

I found this nice condition omega for $750, what are your opinions?

with my price range, I should probably me looking at older Geneves and DeVilles?

Here are some pics of the 1970 deville

Its signed 5x. Caseback, Dial, Crystal, Crown, and Movement, serviced last week

Keeps time within specs at +/-5 seconds a day!

If it was serviced last week the seller should have some movement pics, always good to see before purchase

Honestly, 750 is not entry level vintage in my opinion. Not even in the case of Omega.

You can find plenty of automatic Seamasters (the dress watch versions of course) at 500-750$.

750$ should get you one in really good condition and 100% genuine with no replacements or anything like that. Perhaps not serviced but not always the case.

I personally would look into c case constellations if you like the design of the above Deville.

Seconded. The watch that OP's looking at looks nice, but for the price you can probably get a Constellation that most people would consider a bit more attractive.

I would also look at Cal. 613 Geneves. Some are 35mm which is a nice size.
