·Well I can definitely recommend the explorer. I got a 114270 and it feels like it’s going to stay a long time.
perfect main stay for me, although I think it could be a bit too boring on it’s own, just wear something a bit more interesting every now and then!

·Oh definitely - I got a 124270 last year and love it to bits. The bezel is a little (okay very) glinty, and it does attract attention, but the proportions / weight / design are perfect for me.

·I don't have any anecdotes and certainly no data to back this up, but.... I'd have thought if someone's going to wallop you over the head for a Rolex, they'll do the same for any shiny upmarket watch that they can fence.
I can't imagine the assailant fretting over whether it's a Tudor, Breitling, Oris or Omega - it's coming off your arm regardless 😁
This was a gang who knew what they wanted, they were jailed (London)… however this is on the rise again.
They are not after Omega et al, when it’s organised.
