Are these still coming fairly quickly for people? It said 15 days but that came and went last week

The last one I ordered took 14 days to receive the pdf and for the physical EOA to be posted - ordered 18 March and received on 1 April. Probably took up to a week more to receive the physical EOA.

Nope - one I have on order is well past the 15 days, and no pdf yet...

I just received physical copies almost exactly 8weeks from submission.

Unfortunately I got 2 “orange boxes” with the “sometimes the information has not survived or is unreadable” 🙁 Better than the “it doesn’t match our records” but still disappointing after 2mths.

I'm not impressed with Omega. In my opinion, they should provide this service for no charge to their very loyal clients who buy their products and provide incredible word-of-mouth advertising of their products while not only paying nothing for the advertising but getting PAID for their products. And I can see no good reason why the process isn't automated by this time. We should be able to input our info and instantly get the basic data they provide on a pdf that we can print. Free.

Only 10 business days?!?!?! These turnaround time in Europe sound wonderful. I submitted an EoA request in person at the OB in late December 2021, in mid-March 2022 I followed up with the OB representative only to find out just a few days before it had just been assigned to a museum employee and that it will most likely be months until it potentially arrives (pending there is still information for my watch).

Long story short, even if it was 30 days, that sounds like a dream over here across the pond.

I‘ve got a pretty shitty track record ordering an extract.

Either I‘m too stupid to fill in the three fields correctly and upload four decent pictures, or I have a special skill in attracting watches with swapped movements. I love the two watches regardless. I‘m done ordering any more.

Or Omega is guilty of asshattery and should provide this service at no cost. Extracts are overrated.

Out of curiosity, and forgive me if someone answered this already but I didn't see anything in the previous replies, does anyone know why the ability to submit online and the digital copy service that is offered in Europe is not offered for other countries (USA, Canada, etc..)?

Did Omega refund you?

Here is a thread that discusses this. Rather than try to summarize it, you may enjoy reading it yourself.

@pdxleaf wonderful, thank you for posting this! Happy to read and learn. Thanks again!

Psst! Try the US Virgin Islands trick if you want to order online in the US.

You didn't hear it from me...

The web system is available in Canada. I think it’s only the US where this isn’t available.

Oh woops my mistake, thank you for letting me know though. I'm over here waiting, for over six months now, on confirmation that an extract is even available for my watch. The local OB representative has been great but it's just bonkers to me that it takes this long over here as opposed to the wonderful system that's in place across the pond.

Used to be you could email them and they would give you this information, cheerfully.

I can confirm that you are still able to place orders of EoA's this way and that I did not hear it from you 😉

Will report back if I receive a digital and or physical extract using this method.

No, they say the fee compensates them for their efforts.
They must have some really well paid employees...

Yes, I’ve ordered in Canada and had no issues (other than a wait)
