Not sure where you are located, I just got a couple but I am in the US and the procedure here is different than the rest of the world. I submitted for 2 EOAs the week between Christmas and New Years, I just received #1 and am told #2 isnt far behind so around 6 weeks for my physical copies.

Any Ultraman extracts? 😁

Thanks Dave, I’m in Ireland. If the process in the US differs to Europe maybe your experience will differ but the date of issue on the EOA - was that close to the date that you submitted the requests and did you wait long for the digital documents?
I never received digital docs and the submission took longer than it "should" have but part of that was using a new OB (SF) instead of a more established one like Costa Mesa. Honestly once that part got sorted the 5 weeks for the physical copy seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Any Ultraman extracts? 😁
I went 2 for 2! Just copied a few pics from the ol' interwebs and WhamBam 2 more of the "50" have been found! 🙄
Yes, kidding, mine were for a -68 transitional and a -76

Digital copy within 15 days according to the Omega website. I’ve placed an order and will share an update once I have the digital copy!

I got an email from Onega yesterday confirming my EoA is on the way and including a link to the pdf of my EoA. So exactly 15 days after I submitted my order. Absolutely delighted - the date of my EoA is 22-02-2022!!

One of the downsides of EOA’s for the US is the lack of availability to do it online. However I just discovered a positive to it.

I recently submitted for an EOA (through OB) and I couldn’t tell if one of the numbers was a 6 or an 8, older eyes and an older phone camera didn’t help matters. I guessed it was a 6, submitted and was rejected. I had a new phone since then, retook the picture and it was certainly an 8 so I resubmitted and received my EOA.

Now to the positive. I did not have to pay for my rejected EOA. Not sure if this is US policy or if the OB I a dealing with is just nice but this is the 4th EOA I have gotten and am never asked to pay until it has been received successfully by the OB. So it takes longer in the US but if that comes with less risk I am okay with it.

Anyone else have a similar experience in the US, are you paying before or after receiving your EOA?

(Not going to mention the specific OB in case they are just doing me a favor and not following normal procedure)

Looks like you have the old page cached. Just tried it again and got the form.

Just to prove I'm not making it up...

I get that form as well, but when I scroll down, I see the US customers notice.

Thanks - that really brings the watch to life. I can imagine an Omega and space enthusiast buying this Speedy new in Mexico back in Apr 70 and wearing it with pride. It’s a shame so many of these now remain stored and no longer worn.

Sigh. Didn't see that when I looked.

Try using your US postal address and US Virgin Islands for Country. That worked for me in the past.

I personally won't bother as I don't care, but someone definitely will. 😀

Still wearing my ‘71 regularly.
That’s stunning - I have two from 1970. Even though the DON bezels are well worn I’m still paranoid about further damaging the bezels!!

Stupid question but... I must ask. If EoA is not a certificate of authenticity, why would you want to have it?
