New Bond watch

Hi all,

I received min this week in the mail. I’d purchased it from a boutique without seeing it or trying it on and love the piece. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the counterweight of the lollipop appears to be bent upwards. I’m not sure if this is actually the case or an optical illusion due to parallax but would be good to get some opinions from others who have this piece. My phone couldn’t take the best photos but I have attached a couple.

Since you mention the UK, and assuming you are having it shipped there, have you factored in the import duty/VAT? If not you might get a nasty surprise and find that much of that saving evaporates. Very few parcels from Japan sail through without customs intervention.

British but I live outside UK (no Vat or duties) so I am ok on that front. Cheers

They put it on a grey and blue NATO for me to see and it was lush. What other nato strap options do you recommend? I got the shortened Milanese swapped out whilst there for free - best decision I ever made. So much better looking

Even if worn a fair bit?

Will investigate next time back in UK!

I highly recommend going for the shorter Milanese (free of charge) from Omega…

Looks great gents. It's one of those watches that grows and grows. Without going back 24 pages, because I can't remember, are there any NATO shots of this?

I plan on eventually obtaining the standard SMP bracelet, which is true to the original Bond watch:

The watch is now available on the Omega website, retail, no waitlist!!! Just added it to my basket. Obviously not buying it as I have it but for anybody waiting, in the UK, go go GO!!!

Wow! FWIW : I love mine and think this is one of the best diver variations I've seen and I'd be delighted if it were more available. ( I also wouldn't mind if if Omega released a variant of this platform for other steel models!! A black version on a Nato would be amazing ).

Good for you!! I am happy to defend the unfairly-maligned bracelet all day long! I think it is a spectacular piece of engineering and comfort.
