How's the dome crystal on this one? It looks too reflective compared to other ones, I haven't seen this in person but i'm just curious!
Called 3 OB near me, the Houston one told me There's a wish list and that they will officially get some in May, they get them once in a while.
Dallas store asked me to pay off the watch via credit so they can put my name on a list and the San Antonio one told me their wait list is extensive and super long but that the lady doesn't recall them getting any of them in as of yet.

How limited are these? I lost my motivation when I saw the asking prices of the Bond 60 on other sites OMG?

been wearing it the past few days, love everything about it (bar the lollipop seconds hand but can deal with it)

i love the fact there's nothing about 007 on the face, only those that know will know

with the secret case back being the highlight to the entire watch

Quick question, this watch is not that limited right? Once stores see demand go down we could go in a store and purchase it as is? I'm just curious. Several stores are downplaying this while others are making it seem like it's incredibly limited?

It's not a limited edition but my understanding is that it will be a limited release due to the animation movement (similar to Snoopy). At least this is what my SA claims.

There are 3 wait list models at Omega Boutiques. This is one of them. I also understand lists will be long and supply may not align with demand.

Omega will make this as limited as they want and from the looks of it, this will be fairly limited

Got on the list back in November, put a deposit down last month, was told March. Eagerly waiting!

Congratulations to all who have already received. Thank you for all the pictures and information. Great thread, enjoyed reading.

Thanks for this.

Think I prefer this on the rubber over the mesh.

For the NTTD it's the opposite.

Still waiting for the call from the OB. Rang up recently and they told me I was top 50 but they’ve only received 2 since January 🙁

Emailed the OB, my awesome sales rep just told me they will rarely get more watches in, it's not that limited but it seems like Omega is not putting out that much and by the lack of posts here and on the other websites I believe it. He Told me to keep my head up and wait.

Reminds me of the Snoopy launch, lots of delivers in the first couple of months which I assume they had ready pre-launch and then after that it dried up significantly.

This thread is long overdue for a bump!😉

Given that it's an Omega release, we'll learn about the watch on Thursday and be able to wear it in October 2023. They can't ever have a release and availability for sale in the same month or quarter

First and foremost, I must give you credit, Robert, for your spot-on prediction! I’m going to rely on you more often to help anticipate when I will receive an Omega piece and help minimize anxiety!😁

I was re-reading this thread earlier today. I ordered mine the day after Thanksgiving. Admittedly, I was slightly apprehensive about the additional thickness. I finally had the opportunity to see one at the Los Angeles boutique back in July and was relieved:

During a visit to my OB the previous month, they told me not to get my hopes up for a delivery this year. They estimated my piece would most likely arrive next summer!😡 Well, I was completely surprised when I received an email from the OB on October 24th stating my piece had finally arrived and took delivery on that Friday (the email went to my spam folder)!

The box was a bitch to open!🤬 Omega doesn’t mess around!

Even Ozzy was excited!

Very pleased that it’s a relatively small box!

We have a fingerprint magnet:

Love the matching wave pattern:

There she is:

My initial wrist shot under overcast skies:

My attempt at a lume shot:

I'm quite surprised that these don't seem to be arriving at a faster pace. My guess is that Omega may be having challenges with the animated casebacks. But that's only a guess!

The mesh doesn’t really work with my wrist shape. It leaves an annoying gap on the inboard side of my wrist. But I already knew this from trying on the NTTD:

Eventually, I will be ordering the standard bracelet, which, thanks to this thread, has been confirmed to fit this piece!

Thanks for looking!

LOL... I'm still waiting for mine to come in from the OB. At this point I don't even know if I'll still want it if I ever get allocated one.

I was flabbergasted when they told me back in June not to expect my piece until probably next summer. But I was truly exhausted and suffering from "horofatique" from these last few years of craziness. And I still had not seen one in the flesh. I wasn't going to lose sleep over this.

The following month I finally saw one in the metal at the LA OB. My concerns about the additional thickness were finally addressed. I was pleased with the overall execution with the exception of the mesh bracelet. Having previously owned the ceramic blue dial SMPc, I definitely prefer this aluminum blue dial. I just figured I will get it when I get it.

Hopefully, you don't have much longer of a wait and you actually want your piece. If not, there's always another piece. Watches and Wonders 2024 is right around the corner! LOL!

I know right!
1. White dial Speedmaster (looks like this is actually going to happen according to rumors)
2. New PO (potentially...maybe... we've been saying this for several years now)
3. Re-release of the Seamster 165/166.024 (potentially...maybe...)
4. New AT. Omega always does some new AT release every year (hopefully the colorways get put in a 41mm case).

So many potential things I would buy if Omega would actually release them.

Really enjoying the Bond 60

Ugh, what is omega doing? You give us the perfect blue color and wave dial, but then you throw in a cheap looking mesh and a vintage bubble crystal with poor reflectivity on a modern watch? They’ll never get it right enough for me to buy one, at this rate.

I’ll probably buy the pre 2012 automatic model and call it a day. Those wore thin, light, and had a design that just works. I hope omega focuses to wearability as much as they do tech.

This post isnt to knock your new watch, becuase it is GORGEOUS. But it’s more of a personal rant. I want to buy it, but I just can’t sue to their design choices.

Hm interesting, i never saw the domed crystal as a negative. I have no issues with reflections on mine, at least no more than on any other watch I have with normal flat/convex crystals.

The mesh bracelet does seem like a hit or miss depending on wrist size and shape. It does "loosen up" after a while from what I've seen in other posts. I haven't noticed a difference myself but mine is fairly new and fits me well luckily.
