·I don't think it's gonna be the Bond watch. But since filming will begin around Nov and Dec of this year, I guess we'll see. It may be it. But Omega will either release a whole new one for him to wear specifically for the movie or add another one to add to this one here, perhaps a limited edition for him to wear as well, like they did with Spectre.

·Isn't filing set to begin in December? If so that's still a decent amount of time to get someone else lined up.
Danny Boyle had brought a screenwriter in to do the script. That could get scrapped now too. They'll be lucky to get started by December. Maybe Sam Mendes is available? Though would they want him back after Spectre?
