Costco Wholesale Corp.): The "Omega Globe" was added to the caseback of watches sold to Omega ADs outside the US, where as the US ADs received the standard caseback. This was done with the intention of using copyright law to restrict the unauthorized sale of Omega watches in the United States (Specifically to COSTCO). These watches still made their way into the US, however, because US ADs were purchasing watches from ADs in other countries.
