Confirmed production until the next bond.
    It’s a great watch anyway.

It'll be available until the next Bond movie watch comes around.

Anyone seen the movie yet? Have your feelings for the watch changed after the movie? ;)

After seeing it, its great to see the watch play a role in the movie..

This was my Wednesday night. Thoughts on the movie? I thought it was different and great way to end the Craig era. I think whoever comes next has big shoes to fill.

There is an interesting Omega display at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles.

Unlike in SPECTRE, and even Skyfall before that, this SMP didn't get the product placement treatment as much. A brief glimpse here and there and even handed over by Q there were no lingering shots of the dial to advertise the brand this time.

An older Aqua Terra (probably the larger sized blue as seen in SPECTRE) was worn in the earlier scenes yet didn't get promoted, probably as it's no longer for sale (previous model).

    Great film, albeit somewhat controversial/different.

Yeah. I was surprised they've didn't show closeups of the watch.

And yes, the Aqua Terra he wore in Italy was the same one he wore in Spectre.

My thoughts is that that scene was meant to be 5 years ago, so they used the omega AT that bond would have had in that period. It would have been odd to have a 2020 watch for that scene that was meant to be set straight after the events of spectre.

Yes you're right. The events in Italy must've been in 2015... Thus the "5 years later" as shown in the title cards after the title sequence and Bond can be seen wearing the NTTD SMP after the title sequence.

Oops I'm sorry. But the 5 years later bit is nothing much really. There is so much more to the movie. My lips are sealed from here on out ;)

I don't know more, but I have heard he's going to be wearing something new on his wrist, I don't really have any information, just hope I like the design.

Huh? What are you talking about? We already know about the watch being worn in the movie.

Does the v1 fits better around the wrist? I read it's more flexible and it follows more the wrist like a steel bracelet.

The flexibility as far as I'm aware of is the same between the V1 and V2. Only difference are the endlinks which doesn't affect the overall fit of the mesh around ones wrists at all.

I saw it at an AD a few weeks ago, and it looked amazing in the flesh. So much so that I've been looking for one, and I'm hoping that I came across an example and can make the deal work.

Has anyone else had similar experiences to @abrod520 with regards to the reflection and legibility of the dial?

Now I just need to see the movie!
