My ad told me that their watches were being delayed now because of the delay to the film (a communication to the ad group from omega apparently). Interesting how this plays out. Maybe those who have theirs will be the only ones for a while....

That would be understandable from Omegas side of view, as they probably don’t want to see the watches sold with discounts bevor the real hype sets in with the movie.

But that would be a long wait for everyone who wants one

What makes you say that? I’m only quoting what was communicated to me by a uK chain (fraser hart). How would that impact your US pre-order?

 

I've preordered through Tourneau as I had a credit from them. If UK ADs are being delayed, then the bottom-of-the-barrel ones like Tourneau don't stand much of a chance I think

it does kinda make sense. The watch being out on the market at the same time that the film has been delayed by 6 months is not ideal. The potential is that the watch will be languishing in windows before the film is released.

Yeah, that would be cool. I’m happy they did it with this version to make it more special. More lume is always better
