New Bond Omega?

My post was about how Omega made a post on Instagram with faked surprise over Daniel Craig was sighted wearing the Bond Seamaster. The post said: CELEBRITY SPOTTED the New Seamaster 300 and then a photo of DC at some show making it look like they randomly caught a photoof him wearing one of their watches.

So, I have been here all along and my post was a rant aimed at Omega. Has been also been wearing Omega before he became an ambassador?
Nah.. He was seen mostly wearing various Rolex models before he became Omega ambassador which happened some time in 2012.

Is the 300M NTTD currently available in stock at AD’s/OB’s or have Omega delayed them due to the film postponement?

Omega site says not currently available, but obviously some guys already have their watches.

It doesn't say not available on the website. And some boutiques already have the watch since around mid February. So the watch is being distributed gradually to all boutiques and AD over the next few months. The movie is delayed, not the watch. Its already available.

The Mrs is travelling to the States next week and I was wondering if any UK forum members had seen the bracelet version for sale at Heathrow?

I know Omega Regent Street had that 2 titanium editions came in yesterday and have both gone to waitlisted customers. I believe they do have one in strap though.

I don't think they would do that given it is to commemorate the Bond movie.

And I think in steel the watch will loose a bit of it’s appeal. The titanium gives it such a cool stealthy look with its grey color and matt brushed surfaces. In some lighting it almost looks black. It’s such a stunning watch and I love that’s in titanium.

But hey, it’s Omega. So maybe we will see a similar version in steel in a few years, when the Bond licensing is finished - who knows...

My dealer kept telling me that Titanium watches are scratch magnets and can't be refurbished properly, so that scared me off.

Forget about the titanium, imo the aluminium bezel will be the first part to get scratched if it gets knocked or grazed against something while on the wrist.. But of course it depends on the wearer. My 2220.80 SMP still has a flawless bezel after 8 years 😜

I have mine now for a month and wear it daily since I bought it. My experience is, that due to it's lightness and it’s low profil, it’s less likely to get caught on something that can cause scratches.

On the other hand, I don’t have a problem with natural aging of watches by wearing them. So I chill and enjoy the watch 😎

Enjoy it man. I wish I had the extra cash now to splurge on it. Would definitely love to add it to my Omega collection one day..... Maybe when the price is right.

Just tried this on in my local OB... fantastic!

A couple of questions to current owners:

How do they appear in natural light? It comes across quite brown under the glare of the (awful) lighting in store. Even the hands looked toned, I’m guessing they are titanium too?

I tried on with the supplied nato which is quite spicy! What others suit it that go with the colour way? Anyone have the Omega beige nato?

Cheers, A

In natural light the lume looks way brighter. Artificial lightning at the OB is not the best for presenting this watch.

I don’t know if the hands are titanium, but they look stunning. They are blackened, but have a bit of glimmer in some light.

I posted pictures with different straps before in this thread, but here we go again 😁

Yes, it’s the military green Omega Nato Strap - got it as a gift with my NTTD purchase and I quite like the color.

Looks superb! My slight concern is the colourway may limit choice of strap options.

Awesome looking watch. How easy could get the bracelet scratched?
