Looks like there's a new Pie-Pan model on its way, which has been confirmed by Omega's own PR team.

The lugs seem to be awfully narrow in my opinion, and I'm skeptical of how the dial will look. If the only finish is radial brushing, that's going to be rather underwhelming. It's also rather unfortunate to see that the crown appears to be a banal thin-knurled design, rather than one of the more distinct scalloped or decagonal designs. On the bright side, it seems like there's no date.

Given that it's going to be 18k Moonshine, I'm expecting it to be 45-60k USD. Definitely seems like it'll be priced higher than the 18K Aqua Terras, which have PVD-plated dials. I also wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being placed higher than the 18K Moonwatches, if Omega's trying to bring back the Constellation as the elegant, high-end flagship.

Oooh, I'm hopeful they make it awesome! Not sure I'll pay Omega gold prices for it, but a 2 tone might be nice...

It looks very slim too, something they've been criticized for a lot recently, it looks like they might have been listening beyond just the Gen 4 Planet Ocean

To be fair, Delroy Lindo seems to have pretty sizable wrists. In this GQ article, one of the images shows him with a Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Chronograph, which seems to be 40-43mm depending on the model.

Looks like a re-do of the Ref. 14311 with an arrowhead dial.

I see the ⭐️ at “6”.

The more I look at the low-res images available, the less hopeful I am about the case. It seems like unlike the Milano Cortina, which had nicely proportioned and defined lug facets that accurately replicated the Olympic Seamaster dog-leg case (different from the Constellation case), the topmost face contacting the round edge of the midcase on this new model has been squished. It definitely seems closer to the 14311, which is an interesting choice considering that model was never sold as a Constellation.

Question is, will they discontinue any of the other dress watch lines of try and focus on one.

And to be realistic we all know the answer is No (but that's a while other conversation that's been done to death)

I really dont understand why they don‘t offer a simple automatic thin classic constellation in steel.

I think it looks awesome. I hope there's a steel version with a silver dial, I am in need of a dress watch...

I think it looks good, although for that kind of money a bracelet fitted to the case would be appropriate.

But I'm not paying 40,000+ for a watch so it doesn't really matter.

And for some context, the internet tells me Delroy Lindo is 6'4". He's a big dude.

I'm worried about those lugs. Why can't they just give us the dogleg lugs that we asked for 😑.

Oh well, it's not like I have solid gold watch money these days.

Just you wait everyone. I can see it now. It’ll be 39mm , 13.5mm thick and wear like a dinner plate… it’s just the way omega does things these days.

Literally all they have to do was make a reissue of the 34mm dog leg Connie with 30m water resistance minimum and a modern movement. Why is this so difficult 😂

It's bizarre that the luxury brands won't reissue the things we want.

Meanwhile Seiko is churning out nearly 1:1 reproductions of their greatest hits.

Sometimes i think they hold back this tactic of reissues for times when they have finacial problems. Like a last shot

Honestly, I DON'T want the 34mm 😀 My vintage one is too small for me, I'd love something in the 38-39 mm range. I like the dog-leg case they use for that olympic watch, plus a pie-pan dial would be a nice combo IMO.

I suppose then we’ll have to Hope they release both a 34 and a 38/39! Fingers crossed 😃

Agreed. Everyone still buys a Datejust and it looks the same as it did in the 60s. Why can’t omega just make a 166.010 seamaster on a BOR again. I’d buy one provided it wasn’t 10 grand 😂

So, the word is that these are only going to be released in gold. I hope they have more options than that 80s-style textured bracelet... I've personally never been a fan. But if it is only going to be made in gold, it probably won't matter to me...

Where’s this info come from? I’ve been trying to look for a bit more detail all day
