For sale here is a recently serviced, pie-pan dial Constellation Ref. 14393 on the beads of rice bracelet. Specs: Year: Early 1960s Material: Stainless Steel Crystal: Genuine Omega acrylic crystal with a cyclops on the inside above the date window Movement: Cal. 561 Dimensions: - 34.5mm case diameter - 10mm thickness - 44mm lug to lug - 18mm lug width Accessories: Omega beads of rice (BOR) bracelet. The black leather strap in the picture is NOT included in the package for sale. Conditions: Movement: Recently (completed on 3/31/2021) serviced by the Omega Certified watchmaker (World time in San Jose) with 3 year's warranty, ending Mar 2024. Feel free to contact them to confirm service records and warranty. Multi-positional testing result included below, running +5s/day with 237 amplitude on average. A picture of the movement was taken before the service using my phone at the watchmaker's shop. The movement is clean from corrosion despite seeing them on the dial and hands. Dial: Champagne color (I assume from patina) dial with some obvious corrosion/patina. The dial has sunburst texture and the patine is more obvious in the "low-light" area, and less obvious in the highlighted part. Therefore how "bad" it is really depends on the lighting conditions. Under some lights it's pretty clean, but under others it could be very obvious. I personally finds it interesting but that is a personal taste. I took multiple pictures from different angles and lights to demonstrate the conditions of the patina. The hour indices have black onyx middle parts. Hands: Obvious corrosion/patina on the hands too. Hour and minute hands appear to be original, but the second hand appear to be a replacement as it is slightly longer than the other pictures I see online. Case: The real highlight of the piece. To my eyes, the case appear to have all the original finish and is not polished. The delicate chamfers on the outside of each of the 4 lugs seems to be very sharp and even. The entire case is covered with scratches and signs of usage consistently throughout, as expected for its ~60 years age. Medallion on the case back also has sharp edges despite some signs of corrosion. Crown seems to be original. Bracelet: Pretty well stretched. The hollow end links could use some professional work to be tightened. The clasp spring bar may need a replacement as it sometimes comes out of the holes. Most of the time I wear it on leather straps. Asking Price: $1,400 Shipped 2nd day in CONUS (US sales only at this point). If buyer request faster shipping additional costs will be covered by buyer.
