Thanks to all of you for the advice. I managed to get the watch at what I think is a decent and fair price. I should get it in about a week. . Again, thanks for all the advice, and if you ever happen to run into me, please ask me what time it is. I can assure you this won't be going into any box. Life is very short and very precious, and this bad boy is going to make every minute just a little bit better, one second at a time. this will have to suffice until then.
Watch arrived today and I could not be happier, and it fits just about perfectly. I guess that's a wrap, I am no longer looking for a watch.

I know this thread is a year old, but I want to congratulate you, in case you did buy this Omega 18k Grand Luxe, a phantastic piece of watch history and wear it proudly!
The price is fair, all seems to be original and most important, the bracelet is not too streched and fits your wrist.
And I dont care about resale prices, gold is forever, fashion may vary and who knows what my grandchildren will like.
And to those arguing of too much blingbling, my throat doctor wears a Rolex Daytona, a steel toolwatch for 4-times the price and does not feel obscene while handling my nose.

DeLuxe indicates a 18kt dial, Grand Luxe additionally a case with these special lugs.
All Grand Luxe I saw in Omega publications had a golden bracelet.
As Grand Luxe watches often apear with leather straps, maybe the bracelet was melted (a shame)??

Price is going to be based on gold. Scale shows 123 grams, I would figure about 30 grams of that would relate to the movement and crystal which are not gold.
So let’s say 90 grams of gold. Current price is US$61 per gram X 75% (18K) X 90 = $4,100 or so. Add something for rarity, box with some of the paperwork and the value of movement.
