This is correct. The op’s picture has the curvy font used on early 50s Seamsters, particularly the jumbo bumpers.
It’s an early serial for this reference so most likely correct.

At first glance, the dial looks fine to me but, I'm on my phone. Compare to the one here which has an earlier serial and is correct. The S in the OP post looks the same as mine but different to the 60s models. I think they went curvy-coathanger-different curvy. If that makes sense!

A head on shot of the dial is always prefer to asses a dial, but as far as the S in Seamaster goes, that shape can period correct as @ChrisN writes. Seems Omega couldn't make up there mind during that period 😉

No but it will tell you what they are selling for. The value of that particular watch is up to the OP.
On EBay, do an "Advanced Search" (top right corner of the page) and click the box for "completed listings" and then you see all the ones that actually sold and for what price.
