I purchased this constellation . I need help determining if the dial is original or re-finished. It seems too clean to be original. Also the dial contains lume but is only marked with Swiss Made instead of T Swiss Made T. Is it original , re-finished , or a service dial? Any help is appreciated thank you!

Hi!

Nice write up on C-Shape Constellations can be found here:

http://omega-constellation-collecto...12/constellation-c-shape-omegas-child-of.html

Yours seems to be a 751 movement model which is a later model.

From a certain point in time Omega did not print 'T' on dials anymore, I think around 1970. Dial fonts on your watch seem to be OK.

The pictures you provide are overexposed but it could be a textured dial which is hard to redo anyway.

I'm not sure if the hands are original to this watch. The case seem to be a bit too soft.

(If you receive the watch) post better pictures

Hi,

here’s my 168.017 cal. 564, which has lume on the indices and hands but no “T” marking, all good with that. The hands on the one you posted look thicker and a bit suspicious, though.

I'm no expert, but it does look good, and clean. Great condition.

The thicker handset was used on some Ccase models I think yours are ok
