Help needed if dial is repainted

Hi, can any gurus help advice if dial has been repainted or original? Edges of subdials look too rounded but letterings look fine. I intend to bid on it but confused.

Or any other issues detected, pls advice. Thanks

Some subdial markers don't reach the (rounded) edge, others do. I don't know if that's normal.

What i meant is the edges where subdial meets main dial looks too rounded. Hence looks repainted.

Marker spacing is even all the way around. Looks good to me.

Mine on a 145.0029 are (were as it's off being restored) the same on the 'Seconds' & 'Hour' sub-dials, nearer at the top than at the bottom. More telling is usually the inner & outer edge chronograph markings as this is more complex to print and these seem marginally misaligned but that could just be the angle of the photographs and distortion through the edge of the crystal, but I wouldn't want to say yes or no - to new to this game!

Oh, in that case its a restored dial, the spacing on the OMEGA looks wrong, whilst the upright on the 't' in Seamaster isn't tall enough, the transition from main to sub dials isn't sharp enough and the minute markers behind the 4 & 5 o'clock battens look misaligned (but as above, could be the angle or distortion through the edge of the crystal) - the fact that people aren't coming down definitively would seem to suggest you aren't going to get an expert answer. Personally I like the dial, but I'm on record that I'd buy a redialed/restored watch if I liked what I saw, but I'm really new at this so definitely don't hold me to it 😉 especially as there does seem to be massive variation in these dials anyway, from what I've seen online and posted here. In any case still looks like a great watch, which I'd really like to wear! So perhaps of no use to you at all!

Compare the arrow “feathers” against known original dials. I’ve never seen the feathers taper on original dials. That said if it’s a redial it’s a good one.

Good spot, trouble is even in the short time I've been looking at these watches I am aware that you can find loads of stylistic differences, even within the same reference, seen examples of the taper before, but perhaps not the spacing.
I'm still on the side of a restored dial, but could be persuaded otherwise!

Looks fully original to me. Lume is nicely patinated, fonts are correct, markings centered and crisp, no indication of botched cleaning attempts, I can see the graining on the dial. I'd have no hesitation in buying. Cheers.

Is the printing in the hour counter really centered (doesn't look so)?

Looks like a very nice watch. You will always get the ones who say restored and then others say it's not. No one is a definite expert unless you consult the higher up's at the actual company and even then it's hard to tell unless obvious.

Based on your pictures, I believe that the dial is original. With better pictures or having the watch in hand I could say definitively.
