Began to try to obtain document on a WWW 5 months ago.

Obtained a waiver to obtain an Extract since I live more than 5 hours from a Boutique in the US. Filled out form for payment and submitted to their provided address. No response. Submitted again to their provided address. No response.
    Pandemic OK. Submitted question again.
No response. Called Customer Service-no idea what an extract is-they will call back.
No call back. Frustrated. Found the Virgin Island trick. Tried to submit pictures of front and back of watch. Payment declined-failed. Gave up but need extract.

Submitted all this to Omega. Got a response-fill out the same form.
Now submit pictures-front/back and movement. No instructions about how or where or format.

150 dollars to simply look up a code in the middle of a recession/depression in watch sales.

    Any advice appreciated.

What do you mean by "...to simply look up a code..."? Real people need to go and dig back through real handwritten records. Not sure about at your office, but no one at mine works for free. Oh, and there are costs for the office, etc. to, plus pesky things like employee health insurance, payroll taxes, sick leave/ vacation pay, etc. Turns out it actually costs money to do things like offer the Extract service.

But as to your problem... Have you tried calling an OB and asking if you can submit through them? You should be able to email an OB you form and give them payment info over the phone, and they can submit on your behalf.

It sounds like when they get back to work, and work on their back-logged requests, you will be charged for three extracts.

If the payment was declined there must be something wrong with the details you provided. Perhaps try another card.

Pictures from a phone should be perfectly fine.

Thanks for the above-even the silly.

Tried Website again but divined that Virgin Island address is not tied to credit card so may be declined.

In re-reviewing the site yet again the possibility of Omega Chat arose. Chat person guided me to a centralized boutique who agreed to order extract. No Payment until Omega answers that Extract can be produced. Very nice ending. Thought members might want to know.
