·I thought it was Ronin, but I just checked and it's different cars.. anyway if anyone doesn't know the car chase in Ronin, it's right up there with the best, with no comical CGI !!!, stick it on a big screen and crank it up real loud:

Ronin is indeed awesome but I'm afraid there is some comical CGI in there. I can't recall the exact scene but there's some tyre smoke when a car pulls away which is the most horrendously bad CGI ever committed to film, and once seen cannot be unseen!
It's also very optimistic in terms of how matched the cars are in real life pace. But... Still a great film and great fun. Just... Not very realistic!

I've never actually driven an S8, but I understand it's a bit of a beast in the right hands.. The closest I've ever driven was a road-going semi-race spec Audi Quattro from the 1980s, it belonged to my boss at the time and he would track it ..it was incredible, but completely bonkers.

·I am not sure how well known this film is. The actors playing the main characters certainly are, but I never heard much about the film. Its six years old and its a good laugh, here are the films bad guys for starters.

As a child of the 70s/80s, the Ur-Quattro is an absolute grail car for me. But these days I live in an environment where car ownership makes zero sense. While I miss the shopspace to be a gear head, it benefits my watch budget greatly 😎
