I guess you are right. Any idea of what a fair price would be?
I just found this one for 795€, it is gold capped and it is not in good condition, the medallion lost some stars.
I've been looking 2852 arrowhead dials and all I've seen have a paint indicator in front of the triangular arrowheads and this one does not have them.
Possible redial?

Slow down and go back to Desmond’s blog for a while.

If you're looking for a nice 2852 pie pan arrowhead dial... well... joing the club and bring your wallet. Believe me, you're not alone. A lot of omega collectors, including me, are looking 24/7 for these and they are willing to pay a lot for a good example. A original arrowhead 2852 for EUR 795 is like paying Toyota prices for a Ferrari...

Meanwhile, this one has no takers at €1100...

No arrowheads, but evenly patinated dial with Arabic numerals and quite good case. Just goes to show how much some details can make a difference.

Where is it for sale? My preference is for arrowheads, but I like all Pie Pans overall

This one was a pretty nice one, textured dial but the movement looked allittle tarnished but pretty good shape. It went for about two grand American dollars on the open auction market. I would expect to pay around there for a decent example.
Yes. I was following that one but did not bid because of the light damage on the dial. There was also a black dial 2852 with damage from the same seller which went for app 2k.

Regarding that watch in my first post I contacted the seller about finding it odd.
They replied that they got it like it is and requested an extract from the archives putting the sale offline for the moment.
I'm actually curious to see what Omega will reply.

Hello there,
So after lurking the internet for too much time I decided that at least for my first Connie /mechanical watch I was better paying a bit more and get one from a reliable source.
And here it is 😀
A 2852 with 505 caliber dated around 1956.
For now this picture is all I can get, I'll post better pictures when better light is available.

Hello there, so today is a beautiful day here in Genève and I got the chance to take some (phone) pictures.
It's funny to think that the watch was made in Switzerland, I bought it from Canada and now it returned to its homeland.
