Black markers and black indices, could be a nice contrast. More like the Snoopy 45 then the Canopus.

Bah but still more like another LE/special watch.
I guess maybe if this is also supposed to be some kind of LE.

White gold will look black at certain camera angles. It's difficult to draw accurate conclusions based on these photos.

Would definitely be interested in a white-dial SS Speedie. Esp if priced in line with the 3861 SS.

I think for this reason if Omega releases a white dial it will be a LE, imagine how big the fall off in the standard black dial sales would be if there was a standard white dial added.

300m Diver is in desperate need of a modern bracelet and some tweaks. The thing just screams 90's to me. I'm patiently waiting to make this my first omega.

I agree, although some people really seem to like the existing bracelet.

I had 0 interest in the SMPs until the NTTD and 60th came out with the mesh bracelets. Now the Bond 60th is my only SMP. I wonder if they'll translate the design language from these two into future standard SMPs.

Why not do as they did with the 2254, slap a speedy bracelet on it. Everything is in stock, end links and bracelets.

The most exciting new release is upon us! A white speedy!

Expect a slew of others including updates to the 44.25mm speedy range.
Hi, it seems that you're very close to the Omega Board-Staff and I acknowledge this, but don't you think that it should be time to get some teasers from Omega itself? I mean, nothing has been officially announced up to now, except in January with the new amazing (imho) spirate
technology and in Summer with the "new" line of Seamasters in Summer-Blue for their 75th anniversary. Not very much news indeed. Please tell us a bit more about the new models, what kind of features will they've and of course cost wise? You don't have to spoil it all over, just some infos would be great. I know you can 😀😀 have a nice time, Bye

Yeah so far Planet Omega has been a dud as far as new releases

Very glad I didn't end up going. I live in NE and was going to go for a quick NYC weekend. My AD offered to schedule a private tour by the exhibit staff which was really kind, but I feel like it would have been a let down if I was expecting a new model announcement. Omega's release strategy has been really frusterating this year. I get sprinkling releases throughout the year instead of during an Omega Days event, but it seems more like they bait us, don't release anything, let the fanfare die down, awkwardly release a lackluster offering, and then don't really follow it up with very much marketing.

Maybe next month, after everyone has forgotten about Planet Omega, we'll get another Bloatmaster Professional with a solid tantalum 46mm case that's 20mm thick for 60k USD.

We are getting into an awkward time of the year for new releases. Christmas and holiday time is nigh, any new release from Omega wouldn't be available for sale for the holiday season and most people have a lot on their plates with shopping, travel, parties, etc. Seems an odd marketing strategy.

Yea at this point I don't think we'll see any new releases before end of year.

I did hear from someone at the events that I'll hear about that white speedy in 2 months though.

Looks pretty nice. This or the black one as a first Speedy?

This is my question too. I went to a boutique and tried on the regular Moonwatch and the Speedy Racing with white face. In photos I lean slightly towards the white dial. In person I leaned towards the black dial. Not a direct comparison but it's similar. I'm leaning towards the standard Moonwatch right now. I'll probably pull the trigger before the white dial is released anyways.

Appears to be a steel sapphire sandwich (per the bracelet) with a pure white dial with a splash of red. Might have a fair amount of appeal but it all comes down to how it looks in person. A pure white dial can be tricky sometimes versus the silvery or beige/creme colored dials that are a bit softer looking. Let's hope it's not some sort of 'limited production' item and that it will be in the catalogue as an option to the black dial version. Perhaps it will come with hesalite or sapphire option, like the black dial one.
