Murmurs about new release

Been hearing some murmurs about "some" new releases towards the end of the year. Sounds like it will be a busy period leading up to the festive season for the folks at Bern.

Looking forward!

Hi, I hope that these murmurs will turn into reality, I mean, Omega hasn't released quite a lot of new models so far, and beside it's their 175th anniversary of the brand
I'm still waiting for a real gmt watch with a 24 hour rotable bezel and an updated Speedmaster racing black or white dial with the new patented spirate regulating system and to fulfill my dream would be the Seamaster aqua terra with a fluted bezel in white gold or tungsten steel wooooow , have a nice time, Bye

Everyone bitched and moaned when Omega was producing all the LE Speedmasters, so they stopped, now everyone is bitching and moaning that Omega is being stingy with new releases. Tough crowd.

Smaller diameter mens offerings and more vintage style would be nice. More no-date options would be icing on the cake.

Dark side Speedmasters upgraded to Master Coaxial. Hopefully Caliber 9906 and a 42mm case!!!

Well it would help if their nicest releases were actually available for regular buyers. I'm sure I'm not the only one still waiting for a Snoopy.

A reasonable priced field watch, ala WW2 dirty dozen. With a quartz movement maybe. But why compete against Swatch group own Longines and Hamilton?

Personally after finding the sapphire sandwich 3861 too big (think more to do with the harsh taper of the bracelet) A slightly smaller version keeping the same features would be great. Also if cheaper than the current RRP even better.

Alas I dont think so

I was in my local OB this week and they did not mention anything about new releases. The did mention price increase 😀

Edit: Just checked the website (France/Luxembourg) and prices have been increased 300-700 euros depending on the watch.

I just want them to do minor tweaks to their main lineups. Thinner, smaller, slight redesigns, etc. I’d love a 600M ultra deep in 39-42MM sizing. I’d love to see a Seamaster with spirate. I’d love a thinner, redesigned clasp for all divers. Just tweaks!!

After speaking with the manager at my local Omega Boutique, I'm confident we will see a bunch of new Speedmasters. 2023 marks the 10 year anniversary of the Dark Side of the Moon. I'm confident we can expect to see an updated Dark Side collection. Probably new twin register racing models also.

I'm hoping for a new non-limited edition FOIS with 3861 Movement. One can dream...

It would probably have to be on a strap and not compatible with the EW 321 flat link bracelet to keep it separate enough from the EW 321.

These all sound excellent ideas for upgrades and additions to me. I'd less fussed about a SMP Diver with spirate, but would love to see a 40mm model or thereabouts that's 12mm or so with a less bulky bracelet and more functional bezel design. If Sinn, Tudor etc can do it, Omega can.

A 3861 FOIS would be nice, but the original is already so good and such a modder's delight, not sure we see it.

And lastly, the return of the 38 or 39mm original Railmaster to compete against the Explorer 1 would be a fine addition.

What is it with you and the date. I think some watches look good with a clean dial but that fate comes in handy

That isn't 14.5mm thick, and comes with something like the 321 bracelet?

Date windows interrupt symmetry-- although I acknowledge they can sometimes look great...

Well I do appreciate a clean dial but I a clean dial but I always forget the date and I think if you’re spending over 2k on a watch it should give you more info than just the time. But actually that was more directed at @noelekal as we have gone back and forth prior. I do think if it’s a particularly nice dial (many GS) and I picked up the blue railmaster no date so I get it.
